Our robust and challenging Key Stage 3 curriculum aligns with the National Curriculum, providing breadth and balance across a range of subjects. In Key Stage 3, students are taught in mixed ability teaching groups for all lessons in Year 7 and Year 8. All students have access to a full programme of Personal Development which is supplemented by weekly sessions delivered during the tutor programme. All lessons are one-hour in length, and each day students have five, one-hour lessons. We run a two-week timetable at Rugeley John Taylor and students will access 50 lessons during this period.
