All students are expected to arrive to school 'ready' to learn, with all the equipment necessary to engage in purposeful learning.
In partnership with Entrust Music Service Staffordshire, your child could take lessons in a range of instrumental or vocal lessons, including woodwind, brass, percussion and strings.
We are delighted to be working with Mellors Catering to provide a healthy range of meals throughout the day for our students.
My Child at School allows families to access their children’s educational, attendance and behaviour information, and is also used to make payments online for items such as dinner money, music tuition and school trips.
We take our responsibilities regarding welfare concerns seriously and encourage our children to talk openly about any worries they may have. In addition, we encourage families to reach out to us should they have concerns.
Our inclusion team have a wealth of experience and knowledge across all areas of SEND. We also work together with a much wider team of administrative, pastoral and teaching staff to provide the best possible experience for our students.
Rugeley John Taylor School is a ‘uniformed’ school, and there is a clear expectation that our students will wear the full uniform appropriately and that this expectation will be supported by parents.
We operate a two-week timetable, of twenty-five periods per week, which includes five one-hour lessons each day. The timings of the day are shown on this page.
