Any parent/carer who wishes to complete an in-year transfer to Rugeley John Taylor School should contact the school in the first instance.

If you wish to make an application you should complete this application form and forward this to school ([email protected]).

Further information can also be found on the Staffordshire County Council website.

We will advise you of the outcome of your application within 15 school days.

We are thrilled to welcome you to our nursery, a brand-new early years setting that is opening in September 2026. Located in the heart of an evolving community, and a key part of our all-through school, we will offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3 or above, where every child’s learning journey is celebrated.

Our primary phase will equip your child with an excellent education, important life skills, friendships and starts an educational journey which allows our children to progress through our primary phase and seamlessly into our secondary phase, providing an all-through education of the highest calibre.

Built on the site of a former power station, our motto, “Powered by knowledge. Driven by ambition” signifies the importance we place on learning within our school community, and the fundamental belief that knowledge will allow our students to interact with the wider world more fully and be ambitious for their futures.
